Every batch of ZMZM Labs supplements is tested by an independent FDA-registered, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited analytical lab. You can request the certificate that covers your specific batch. We send it within one business day.

What's on a Certificate of Analysis (COA)

A COA documents the lab results for a specific production batch. ZMZM Labs COAs include:

  • Identity — confirmation that the active ingredient is what we label it as
  • Potency — confirmation that the active ingredient is present at the labeled dose
  • Heavy metals — lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury results, with thresholds
  • Microbials — total aerobic count, yeasts, molds, E. coli, Salmonella
  • Pesticides and herbicides — below USP detection thresholds
  • Halal certification number — IFANCA certificate ID for the batch
  • Lab signature — the analyst and the testing lab's accreditation details

How to request your COA

Find the batch number. It's printed on the package or bottle. For supplements it's usually under the lot/expiration line. For skincare it's on the base of the tube or bottle. Format looks like ZL-2026-A-0142.

Email support@zmzmlabs.com with the subject line "COA request." Include: the batch number, the product name, your order number if you have it, and where you'd like the COA sent.

You receive the COA within one business day as a PDF attachment. Halal-Certified products also include the matching IFANCA batch certificate.

What about Halal-Friendly products (skincare)? Topical products receive the same source verification and third-party lab testing as supplements, but they are not eligible for IFANCA's ingestible-style certification framework. The COA for a Halal-Friendly product includes everything except the IFANCA batch certificate. The wudu-safe water-permeability test result is also included for any product where it applies.

If you'd rather verify directly with IFANCA than rely on our paperwork, you can. IFANCA maintains a public directory of certified facilities and brands at ifanca.org. Our facility certificate ID is available on request — email support@zmzmlabs.com.
