Lab Reports & Testing

Every ZMZM Labs product is independently tested. Here is what we test for, who tests it, how to verify our results, and how to verify our wudu-safe claim yourself in 30 seconds.

Source verification

All products

Every ingredient is traced from supplier to manufacturer with documented chain of custody. No alcohol-based extraction. No porcine enzymes anywhere in the supply chain. No animal-derived gelatin.

Supplier audits include ingredient origin certificates, processing aid disclosure, and equipment-shared-with-non-halal flagging. Suppliers that fail any criterion are removed.

Facility audit

Supplements

Supplements are manufactured in GMP-compliant facilities audited against our published halal standard — cross-contamination controls, shared-equipment flagging, and processing-aid disclosure.

Topical skincare isn't eligible for ingestible-style audit frameworks, so we built internal verification for the skincare line — the lab work is identical; only the audit framework differs.

Third-party lab testing

All products

Every batch is sent to an FDA-registered, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited analytical lab. Five tests, every time: identity (is it what we say it is), potency (is the labeled dose accurate), heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), microbials (total aerobic count, yeasts, molds, E. coli, Salmonella), and pesticides/herbicides below USP detection thresholds.

A Certificate of Analysis is issued for every batch. Email support@zmzmlabs.com with the batch number printed on your package and we send it within one business day.

Wudu-safe water permeability test

Skincare

Every Nūr Collection skincare item passes a documented 30-second water-permeability test. We developed and published this methodology so any customer can verify the claim on their own skin.

Verify it yourself (30 seconds, no equipment)

  1. Apply the product to a clean 1×1 inch patch of skin on your forearm.
  2. Wait 5 minutes for absorption.
  3. Run cool water over the patch for 30 seconds.
  4. If water beads, pearls, or visibly resists — the product is not wudu-safe. If water absorbs cleanly — it passes.

Run this on your existing skincare, on ours, on anything else. The methodology is reproducible and the answer is binary. That is the only honest test.

Halal compliance report, per batch

Supplements

We do not bulk-verify and ship for a year. Each production run of supplements receives its own halal compliance report. You can request the report that covers your specific batch.
