What we ask for before a product ships
Before anything goes live we request the same three things from the manufacturer: ingredient documentation, the facility's certifications, and the lab work for that product.
Where documentation for a claim does not exist yet, the claim does not go on the page. Claims lag evidence — per product and per lot, never brand-wide.
Manufacturing
ZMZM Labs products are produced by a contract manufacturer in the United States.
Lab reports and Certificates of Analysis
Available on request, per product and per lot. Not one flattering document waved at everyone for a year — the paperwork behind the specific lot you received. How to request yours.
Skincare and wuḍū'
Our leave-on skincare is formulated for use around wuḍū' — no silicones, no film-forming polymers, no waterproof acrylates, nothing engineered to sit on top of your skin like cling film. One disclosed exception.
A published water-permeability test is the next step, and we have not run it yet. We are not publishing a result before it has been properly run — so there is no pass, fail or score on this page to report.

Send us the batch number printed on your package and we will send what exists for that lot.
What is on a COA
A COA documents the lab results for a specific production lot. Where one exists for your lot, it typically covers:
- Identity — confirmation that the active ingredient is what we label it as
- Potency — confirmation that it is present at the labeled dose
- Heavy metals — lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury results, with thresholds
- Microbials — total aerobic count, yeasts, molds, E. coli, Salmonella
- Batch reference number — certificate ID for the lot
Panels vary by product and by lot. We send the document as it was issued — we do not summarise or reformat it.
How to request it
Find the batch number
Printed on the package or bottle. For supplements it is usually under the lot or expiration line; for skincare, on the base of the tube or bottle. The format varies by product.

Send support@zmzmlabs.com with the subject line \"COA request\". Include the batch number, the product name, your order number if you have it, and where you would like the COA sent.
We reply with what exists
If a document does not exist for your lot, we will tell you that plainly rather than send you something else.
Skincare. Topical products are formulated to halal standards and for use around wuḍū', and lab documentation is available on the same per-lot basis. The water-permeability test described above has not been run yet, so no result for it is included.
Bulk requests — stockists, journalists, community organisations
