Ashwagandha Plus
KSM-66 ashwagandha at 600 mg, standardised to 5% withanolides, with maca, Panax ginseng, shatavari and the B vitamins that actually do something. An adaptogen stack for the part of the day that drags.
Is ashwagandha halal?
Ashwagandha is a root. The root is not the question — the delivery is. Most adaptogen blends arrive as soft gels, and soft gels are almost always gelatin. This one is HPMC, a plant cellulose capsule.
One thing we will flag ourselves, because you would find it eventually: the vitamin D3 here is cholecalciferol, which is most commonly derived from lanolin — sheep wool grease. Most scholars consider lanolin permissible, since it is taken from a living animal without harm, and it is not pork-derived. But it does mean this product is not vegan, and we would rather say that plainly than let a vegan customer find out later. We have asked our manufacturer to confirm the D3 source in writing.
