One halal standard, published in full
Every ZMZM supplement is formulated to halal standards — alcohol-free, gelatin-free, no pork derivatives. The standard and the testing methodology are published on our Lab Reports page, and the Certificate of Analysis for your specific lot is one email away — not buried behind runaround, not hidden behind "halal" marketing copy.
Why this matters: most products marketed as halal name no certifier and publish no standard. The word does the work and nothing stands behind it. You should be able to inspect a claim, not just read it.
Skincare formulated for use around wudu
Most modern skincare is built to form a film on the skin. For practicing Muslims performing wudu before each of the five daily prayers, a water-impermeable layer is a real problem. We formulate our Nūr Collection to exclude the things that cause it: silicones, film-forming polymers, waterproof acrylates, and long-wear finishes.

Our products are timed to the five daily prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha. This is more than religious framing — the prayer windows happen to map onto chronobiological research about supplement absorption. Fajr (pre-dawn fasted state) is a high-absorption window for water-soluble nutrients. Maghrib (post-meal sunset) suits collagen intake. Isha (pre-sleep) aligns with the body's restorative window.

Documentation per product, per lot
Analytical testing — heavy metals, microbials, identity verification — is documented per product and per lot, and the Certificate of Analysis is available on request. Email us your lot number and we'll send what exists for it within one business day. We don't point every customer at a single static document and call it transparency.
No porcine derivatives, no alcohol-based excipients
This sounds obvious for a halal brand. It isn't. Porcine gelatin remains the industry default in capsule shells, softgels, and gummies across the mainstream supplement market — including in products whose contents are marketed as halal. We use HPMC vegetable capsules and pectin-based gummy bases, and the full ingredient list of every ZMZM product is verified against our published halal standard.
What we don't do
- Make specific medical claims (we follow FDA structure/function guidelines)
- Use the word "clinical" loosely (we cite specific dosing rationale, not unsubstantiated outcomes)
- Use the word "certified" — we hold no third-party halal certification, by choice
- Hide ingredients in proprietary blends
- Use cheap forms of nutrients (we use magnesium glycinate, not oxide; methyl-folate, not folic acid; hydrolyzed peptides, not whole protein)
